Jason M. Minami represents management in state and federal
court and before administrative agencies. He has represented a wide
variety of clients ranging from large corporations to small companies
and has experience in several industries. He has a record of
negotiating favorable settlements in a variety of actions. Mr. Minami
also advises clients on preventive labor and employee relations
practices, including sexual harassment, employment discrimination,
employment contracts, severance agreements, leave laws, wage and
hour compliance, debt collection, premises liability, and other
employment-related matters.
Prior to joining the firm in 2010, he represented companies in
commercial litigation with an emphasis on insurance insolvency and
bad faith litigation. He also served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney
for the City and County of Honolulu, State of Hawaii, and served as a
law clerk to the Honorable Michael A. Town, Circuit Court of the First
Circuit, State of Hawaii.
Mr. Minami is a graduate of the University of Hawaii and the
William S. Richardson School of Law. He is licensed to practice in all
state and federal courts in the State of Hawaii.
