Jennifer C. T. Woo (fka Jennifer C. Tsou) has represented
employers before state and federal courts in Hawaii, the Hawaii Civil
Rights Commission, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission,
Hawaii Department of Labor and Industrial Relations and National Labor
Relations Board. In addition, Ms. Woo has assisted employers in
drafting a variety of employment policies, including employee
handbooks, technology use policies, and drug testing policies.
Prior to joining MJW in May 2007, Ms. Woo completed a
clerkship with the Honorable James S. Burns, Chief Judge of the Hawaii
State Intermediate Court of Appeals. As a law student, she served as a
summer clerk for the Honorable Kevin S.C. Chang, United States
Magistrate Judge for the District of Hawaii.
Ms. Woo was an Executive Editor of Production for the Hawaii
Law Review and a member of the International Environmental Moot Court
Team. She competed in the International Environmental Moot Court
competition for two consecutive years; her team won the Best Memorial
award in 2004 and finished as an International Quarter-Finalist in 2005.
She continues to be involved in International Environmental Moot Court
by serving as Assistant Coach for the University of Hawaii’s current
team.
